Your order

When you place an order with us and pay via credit card or bank transfer, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of that order.

If we have the item in stock, we will ship it to you within 5 working days of receipt of your order, usually we will ship next working day. Most of the chairs, however, are made to order by the SpinaliS factory in Slovenia. Delivery time is therefore usually 4-6 weeks. If there is a delay in us being able to deliver the chair(s) to you within that time period, we will contact you to let you know.

We use Parcelforce for UK-wide delivery. We do not ship outside of the UK. You are welcome to collect your chair(s) in person from Lincoln, Retford or Saxilby.

Your privacy is important to us; we do not share your contact details or information about your order with any third party or other companies.

Your right to cancel your order

Under UK Distance Selling Regulations you have a cooling-off period of seven working days after the day you receive the item(s), during which time you have an unconditional right to cancel your order.

Should you wish to cancel your order under Distance Selling Regulations, you should;

  • Inform us by post or email within 7 days. This is the email address to use; karl@upright-balanced.co.uk – our postal address is shown below.
  • Take every effort to return the item to us in the condition it was delivered to you, within 10 days of your decision to cancel. We strongly encourage you to get proof of postage if doing so. It is the responsibility of you (the purchaser) to pay for return postage costs.

If you decide to cancel your order under Distance Selling Regulations, you must take reasonable care to ensure that we receive the item, and that it is not damaged in transit. Failure to exercise reasonable care may result in a claim by us for breach of statutory duty. This is the address you should send the return item(s) to if you wish to cancel your order;

Should you cancel your order, we will refund the full purchase price as quickly as possible. Distance Selling Regulations state this should be done within 30 days, though we aim to do so within 3 working days. At peak business times this may take slightly longer.

Warranty

SpinaliS offer a three-year warranty on all metallic parts (frame, base, height adjustment mechanism). The warranty does not include seat cover and fabric. Please contact us for any warranty claims: karl@upright-balanced.co.uk

The chairs do not require any special servicing, just a wipe-clean with a damp cloth from time to time. The proclaimed lifespan of SpinaliS chairs is 7 years, although with their build-quality they will usually last you 10-15 years. Should you require any replacement parts for your chair outside of the warranty period, please do not hesitate to contact us.
