42-Day Trial
Our top priority is customer satisfaction. We do not want you to be ‘stuck’ with an office chair that you don’t like. That is why we offer a 42-day trial on all our SpinaliS Chairs.
It takes several weeks to get used to a new office chair. And if you have previously sat on a normal non-active sitting chair, you might experience some muscle aches in the first few weeks of using a SpinaliS chair; especially if you usually have a more sedentary lifestyle and don’t regularly train your spinal and core muscles. Such aching muscles are nothing to worry about, it is just a sign that they are beginning to work more.
Our trial period allows you to get used to active sitting, giving your body time to adapt. But if, for any reason, active sitting really does not work for you, then notify us before the end of the 42-day trial period and we will provide you with instructions on how to return the chair.

When does the trial period start?
Your trial starts on the day you receive your SpinaliS chair.
Do I have to keep the packaging?
No. Once the chair is assembled, it cannot be dismantled and will therefore not fit back into the original box.
How can I return the chair within the 42-day trial period?
If for whatever reason you don’t get on with your SpinaliS chair, please email karl@upright-balanced.co.uk within 42 days of receiving your chair. We will then provide you with instructions on how to return the chair to us. Please let us know at this point what you think the problem is, as we may be able to help you solve it and enable you to reap the long-term health benefits from active sitting.
You are responsible for covering the return shipping costs. To make it easier for you, we can arrange pick-up of the chair if you would like us to and deduct the shipping fee from your refund.
You will receive your refund within 14-days (usually quicker) of the chair being returned to us, providing the chair is not damaged, stained or torn.
Can I trial several chairs for 42 days?
No. Only one chair per household / delivery address can be returned under the terms & conditions of this 42-day trial. If you purchase more than one chair, then, unless otherwise agreed with Karl (karl@upright-balanced.co.uk), the standard UK Distance Selling Regulations return-window of 14 days will apply to the additional chairs.
This 42-day trial offer does not affect statutory rights or warranty claims.
